There are several residential saxophone courses every year, as well as general musicianship,theory,harmony etc., aimed at adult amateur musicians of all standards. People come to Benslow from all over the UK, and even Europe and the USA, to be encouraged and enjoy their music-making.

Our excellent facilities, committed staff and expert tutors have helped to develop the talent of many of today's performers, composers and educators. Salford University's Music Division is one of the largest and most established within the UK HE sector and was rated as "excellent" by the latest QAA exercise.
